The electric double-layer flap valve, an essential industrial tool for powder conveying, features double independent valve chambers, realizing stable quantitative discharging and air locking, with simple structure, easy maintenance and wide industrial application.
In powder and granular material conveying systems, discharging and air locking are two core needs. The electric double-layer flap valve is precisely the "industrial artifact" that takes both into account. It is widely used in many industries such as electric power, building materials, and metallurgy, solving the pain points of air leakage and unstable discharging of single-layer valves.
Also known as the electric double-layer air-locking ash discharge valve, it is mainly composed of a valve body, double-layer valve plates, an electric actuator and auxiliary components. It adopts an upper and lower double-layer independent valve chamber design, combined with a sealing structure, to fundamentally eliminate air leakage and air channeling. The working principle is simple and efficient: the upper and lower valve plates switch alternately strictly, keeping one layer closed at all times. Materials first fall into the intermediate chamber and then are discharged in an orderly manner, which not only realizes quantitative discharging, but also ensures the stable pressure of the system, suitable for positive and negative pressure pneumatic conveying scenarios.
Compared with ordinary valves, it has obvious advantages: simple structure and low failure rate; electric drive does not rely on compressed air, suitable for working conditions without air source; high temperature resistance and wear resistance, can handle various dust and small granular materials, not easy to block; the discharging volume can be flexibly adjusted by the action frequency, and remote control can also be realized, easily integrating into the automatic production line.
Daily selection needs to be combined with working condition pressure, material temperature and discharging volume, and maintenance does not require complex operations, just regularly check the seals and lubricate the bearings. Whether it is the ash discharge of the dust collector hopper or the material conveying of the silo, the electric double-layer flap valve can improve efficiency and reduce consumption for industrial production with its stable performance.
